The competition proposal aims at green design by using environmentally friendly materials and bringing green spaces right inside the building, making it not just a station with platforms but also an significant architectural structure for travelers to visit every time they come to Xi’an. The facade design was inspired by the flower symbol of Xian – pomegranate with the central skylight planted with trees to create a garden with chairs waiting to hold visitors. In addition.
